So after having been a contributor to this blog for a long time and not ever contributing anything I think I may have found something of interest to report. I’ve been having really vivid, discrete dreams lately and am toying with the idea of perhaps documenting them here on theluis. I don’t know how people will take to this endeavor so I’m just throwing a heads up out there along with my first report, if it sounds interesting or not let me know and I’ll either continue writing them here or fade back into the obscure anonymity I have so recently enjoyed. Please feel free to comment on what you might think these dreams mean or if you have ever had similar or interesting dreams yourself.

7/28/06 Morning
I was walking around my home town and decided that I was hungry and walked into the local pizza place, Bella Pizza, which for as long as I have been conscious of it has been run by this old Italian guy Nino. Its like a local landmark where everyone has either worked there or known someone who has worked there. We used to go there every wednesday for lunch in middle school. Some more back story, the layout of the store is pretty straight forward and has always been the same the counter is on the left when you walk through the door and the kitchen is in the back left corner. Anyway in my dream the counter was against the back wall of the place and there were new owners. So I went in an ordered my typical italian sub and was completely astonished that they first off ignored my order, then got it wrong, then when they got it right charged me $9 for it. This is of course outragious since the sandwich should cost something like $3.25 if i remember correctly. So I got into a fight with the new owner saying that this would never have stood back in the day etc.

Could this by my subconscious expressing its dislike of the way that society is moving, especially in small town New Jersey, I dont know. Just thought it might be interesting.
